My absence

My absence has been noticed, I'm sure.

I've

1. Been working my butt off to catch up before spring break

2. Been partyin in Oklahoma all spring break

3. Been too lazy to post anything since I came back from spring break.

I plan on undergoing some reconstructions in the site, and actually attempting to make my posts more professional (and maybe actually get some followers), because, as of right now, they are far from it. Hopefully I will actually reread each entry and try to make it make sense and correct all the spelling mistakes.

Also, with my new plan, I'm going to be having to hot link a lot x.x just sayin, I'm also going to be rereading all the posts I have made and making them look more presentable.

I'm definitely not doing it tonight though, because I have a killer ear ache.

Manga; Gamble Fish

The cover art for this... I have no idea how it relates to the actual manga in the least, so please just ignore the swimsuit american cowgirl thing they have going on (at least on mangareader.net)...

This manga, and mind you I just started it, is about a kid who goes to this new elite rich persons highschool and he's basically a primo gambler. He has a lot of tricks up his sleeve~ He messes with your mind O.o His goal is to basically make a ton of money out of nothing. So far he's gotten like... a 100 yen piece and a stack of 1000 yen dollars.....wait,  did he ever actually recieve the promised money? owo;

Yeah, so far this manga is pretty interesting..fun to read owo and the guy has nice facial expressions. xD

there's also this creepy guy.. and his 'reflection room' involves being chained to a wall and whipped...
>.> he looks like a goblin or something... he's actually kind of scary looking.

so anyway, I earge you do look past the weird cover art cuz the manga is completly different... actually I don't even know who is on the coverpage lol (again, on mangareader.net)XD

 *EDIT* okay so I read a little longer... I can explain all the pictures that I saw..

First the hand scene.. it really did happen. He bet one of his fingers and lost and the weird goblin guy chopped if off with a chainsaw.it was all part of his plan though! It's okay too, because they were able to put it back on XD

The naked girl scene, happened too, 'cept it didn't show anything bad, and she was undressing to prove that she wasn't like... pulling cards from her clothes or something. :\

Girl Drowning. Now actualy, this hasn't happened yet, but there is this magician girl and I'm assuming this is all part of her act so it's A-OK. :DD  xD

Hope that clears things up, for the most part this manga is fun to read, and it definitely portrays gambling as being "evil" or "demonic"... but it also shows it as being real cool x3

anime/manga; Midori Days

Ehh.. I think i watched this anime in 1 day.. so i'm a bit fuzzy on the details.

That means this will be a short post. ;3

It's about this delenquint guy who desperatly wants a girlfriend but everyone is too scared of him 'cept this one girl who is super shy and goes to a different school. One day he wakes up and She (midori) is his right hand. Thus the love story continues.

Yay.

Real quick, right? Yeah, well I don't want to post pictures. Maybe i will later. But for now if you want to see pictures look 'em up your damn selves, lazybones.

Manga; Witch Hunter

Not to be confused with "The Witch Hunter" ... or at least I don't think so.. I was checking to see if there was an anime for this and I found something called "Witch Hunger Robin" and something called "The Witch Hunter". I clicked the latter, and the thumbnail didn't look like the right show. If it's an anime, then sorry ;P

Okie dokie. This manga is set in magicalithicallyness times. The witches and humans lived peacefully yada yada until 2 years ago yadaa yada all out war yada witches winning yaaaddaa KAY

Witch Hungers (WH) Are people who are capable of defeating witches. There are three classes, S,A, and B.

S- highest-(SUPERIOR COURT)

A-pretty dang high- (APPELETE COURT)

B-Low/average- (DISTRICT COURT)

...i'm sorry for the judicial branch reference... I learned about this at school today and thought it was a great way to explain how the power is in the witch hunter thing. B rank is most newbies are. A rank has a fair amount of people and they are way more powerful then B rank. S rank is amazingly epicly barely anyone in this category rank. yup...

uuugh... long story short it's about this guy who is a penny pincher, and has this pumpkin puppet thing that's like his "supporter" that he is in control of. If you read this manga, imagine the pumpkin as a girl.

MEEEH it's pretty good. there's this whole betrayal thing going on with the witches, and his little sister turned into a witch and he became a witch hunter so he could find his sister and bring it back OH NO SPOILER ALERT OOPS.

In theory i could correct this mistake right now.. but oh well i won't. *laughs*

Anime/Manga; Inuyasha

I love how well I'm doing on remembering to write these... </sarcasm>

This post is about, you guessed it, Inuyasha! I know what you're thinking! Oh boy, this is going to be a long post! And you know what? You're probably right! I'll try my best not to ramble though, so I will move on quickly!

Inuyasha (creator of Ranma 1/2 and more) is about a girl named Kagome and a half demon named Inuyasha. Starting from the top I suppose it would go something like this...

Kagome, a modern day teenaged girl who lives at a shrine with her family, one day finds that the old well was actually a gateway to 500 years ago! It only worked for her though. Why? Because she had the Shicon(I dunno how to soell it so bear with me loool) Jewels in her BODY. Ain't that something? While she is 500 years in the past, she meets this half demon bound to a tree. She finds that she looks almost identical to Kikyo who Inuyasha was in love with until she betrayed him and bound him to a tree. Kikyo was the protector of the Shicon(?) Jewel, which was really powerful. Made Demons super more..demonic.. could turn half demons into full demons (or into humans [just saying]) and it was only meant to be used for good yada yada. Oh yes, during the nice little cutscene with the betrayal thing, Kikyo died cuz Inuyasha fought back and fatally injured her. She wanted to die with the shicon(?) jewel so it was burnt with her. Kagome has it cuz she's kikyo's incarnation. Then this whole Kikyo coming back to life but not really and inuyashaxkikyo and inyashaxkagome confliction, then Inuyasha's brother and rin... then the reason of the "betrayal", Noraku... then the whole Songo, Miroku bussiness.. also Shippou...not to mention Songo's backstory, namely her brother Kohaku.... There's a lot in this series. And I'm not even done with it. Shame on me...

manga/anime; skip beat

Skip beat! this was a manga i really didn't feel like going into. I don't know why exactly, maybe it was the art. It just seemed like a "this doesn't look good" type of story.

At the push of someone I know *looking at you, haibara* (who else reads this anyways) I read it and... meh. I thought it was okay...until i got to like the 2nd or 3rd chapter. It became total win, and she was all ~demon kyoko~ and with her mini demon spirits always popping out.... hahaha.

So like most things, i really only keep up with the manga. The anime is over with 1 season (I think??) and the manga is ongoing.. atm it's on like..171.. or something.

please excuse my ignorance. :'(

It's about a girl who is head over heels in love with this guy and then finds out that the guy was just like.. MEGA using her and she is all D:< *I WANT REVENGE* this guy is her childhood friend/singer btw. So she totally goes into the celebrity bussiness, aspiring to become better then this jerky face of a guy.

It gets really interesting! *nods*

Somethign I can really relate to in this manga is at the part with the "poison notes" Cuz i do that alot too ;D not as much as that one girl did though o-o;

OH YA there's also a guy named Rin...or Ren... one of the two...

he's an actor.. and i didn't like how he was drawn at first but he's grown on me... or maybe the art just got better, who knows. Yeah, he's like kyoko's(main char) love interest i suppose. Funny guy, that Ren Katasturadfaklsdbfjnk.,m. *nods* It's funny because it symbolizes kyoko's heart as a box and after the whole Shotaro (aka Sho aka childhood friend aka jerky face) incedent it got a ton of locks on it~

Game; Professor Layton and the Curious Village

Professor Layton!!
In the time my laptop was out for repair, I played Professor layton, beat it, fell in love with it, drew it on all my school papers for like a week, read fanfiction on it, and allowed my addiction to die down before having my laptop returned.

When I get the new 4th game, It will all start up again.... Look foward to it.
OR OR MAYBE MAYBE. MAAAYYYBE. WHEN THEY RELEASE THE- AAAHH. When they release the Professor Layton VS Pheonix Wright! OHH I WANT THAT SO BADLY. No news on it being released in America last time I checked though! D:

This game is amazing. They have really difficult puzzles.. I couldn't even solve all of them. The ones I had trouble with always involved math.. *sigh* math.

The setup in this game is that you are a friend of Luke's who received a letter telling about his and Professor Layton's latest adventure. Then it changes to you being Layton and Luke instead of said friend.

Luke is the self-proclaimed forever shouta apprentice to the Great Professor Layton. (also self fabricated nickname for said professor)


Layton is the smart, always gentlemenly (always.) shouta-con archeologist! [btw, they don't actually suggest a relationship between the two...but reading fanfiction changes you in ways you wouldn't believe.]

Manga/Anime; Ranma 1/2

I must be compensating for something. But oh jeez, eventually my vast stores of anime and manga will run out. What will I do then?!?! Watch new ones. Yay. XD

Getting to it, as promised, an old classic awaits you guys. A very...revealing classic, but it's a classic none-the-less xP

Ranma 1/2!!

If you don't know the plot of Ranma 1/2, I shun you. It's like not knowing the plot to.. Inuyasha or something. They were made by the same person btw. Ranma 1/2 and Inuyasha that is...continuing.

Ranma 1/2 is about a boy/girl and his father/panda.

Allow me to elaborate my awesome usage of strike-out. :)

Ranma and his Father, Genma Saotome were training in the Chinese Jusainkyo cursed hot springs and, while training, fell in. Ranma felled into the "Spring of drowned girl" and his father into the "Spring of drowned Panda". The curse being that whenever you have cold water on you, you turn into said thing. (in this case girl/panda). Warm water turns you back into original form.

This is a romance comedy xD and I guess you could say fighting too.. but the fights are all comedic. 

Explaining the romance part; Ranma is in an arranged marriage with a girl named Akane Tendo of the Tendo doujo anything goes school of martial arts. They start off in the series hating eachother, because neither want to go through with the engagement, but slowly...

and all the while getting into hilarious situations because of his curse that he tries to hide. The Tendos know about it, so yea.

There are other characters such as Xian Pu (Shampoo in the english lolol XD), Moose, Mr. Tendo, Akane's 2 sisters Nabiki and ... forgot the other name, Kuno, Ryoga, and more. Some of which i mentioned are also cursed ;)

UUUHM WHAT ELSE. Oh yes, since the anime is very lacking in romantic parts, you will have to resort to the MAAANNNY OVAs (Original Video Animation.. or something like that) to see theem. There is also a movie or.. maybe more.. I really should watch those.*mumbles*

Is it picture time yet? yes? please saaay yes.. let me think....the anime has 161.. and ends without warning.. That's why you watch the OVAs, kay? D< OK THAT'S ENOUGH TALK I GIVE, PICTURE TIIIME.

The red haired girl is Ranma. They made his hair red as a girl in the anime for easier recognition.

I LOVE THIS ANIME. Been meaning to write about it for a while now... I love old anime... most of them..

I'm sending my laptop for repairs cuz.. as of right now, and for about a month already, I can't right click. Well actually I couldn't left click but I was smart enough to change the settings from right handed to left handed  :}

Anyway, yes, Hiatus. Fun. A week of full on catching up on homework, since my mom is furious with my D's and F's on my report card =w= Apperantly I'm smart enough for A's and B's.

Manga; Under PRIN

This is a small manga, ongoing, and curiously all the pages are colored. I really liked how the story is, so I keep it under watch for new updates. Not sure if it's an online artist (which i suspect) or an official manga. And, I dunno, maybe the storyline is a bit played out, BUT I LIKE IT. so ha.

The plot is, and i'm trying my best to not put spoilers, about a kid who met a suspicious person and then his whole reality started to change!

..That's pretty darn vague. :DD ha.  and, as i expected, the manga(?) is so darn not popular that I had to pull pictures out from the actual manga pages xDD

Since i can't find many pictures I like, amazingly, I don't feel the erge to spam the post. xD

well anyway, the final verdict is, read it if you are bored and have time. Or wait to read it until it has more chapters. I just found out it updated twice when i wasn't paying attention *was looking through my favorited manga folder for something to write about.*

Manga/Anime; Bakuman

Yeah I know this is really popular, but I really liked how the story is so far. I mean common, it follows two boys in becoming mangaka. who DOESN'T wish they could be mangakas? I know I've wished it once or twice, but I know I don't have the skills xD

Bakuman is about.. direct quote from above, "two boys becoming mangaka". But the story, from what I can tell from the first 8 chapters, going to show interesting bumps in the road. It explains what it takes to become a mangaka, and what tools you need and stuff like publishing, but it does it so inconspicuously. It's almost like it's telling you how to do it, as in a how to book, but totally different at the same time.

I know i'm not making sense xD This probably isn't going to become one of my all time favorites, but I like the story and I picked it up yesterday.. and I need to post something today so this will work (conveniently)

Character; Edogawa Conan

I love Detective Conan! If you didn't realize this, the background is that of Detective Conan. I've been reading it for so long I can hardly introduce it as new, but I can introduce Conan as one of my favorite characters o3o :DD

Again, for those of you who don't know, Conan Edogawa is actually an alias that he was forced to assume by some men in black! The Black Organization!! (B.O. hahaha)

His real identity is Shin'ichi Kudou (which coincidentally means TRUTH'ONE! :DD) a teenage detective! He now has to use a bumbling detective, Mouri Kogoro, and turn him into a star detective so he can hopefully catch wind of some shady activity from the black organization and use the medicine that shrunk him to turn him back into an adult!!!!!! *EXCLAIMATION POINT :D*

Yeah ok. He's just plain awesome. He's the first anime I got into as a child, and it probably wouldn't seem nearly as cool to me if I started watching it now then when I did when I was like 10. But I will now forever be in love with Conan <3

Part of me will die when this show is over. And you all will know what that is because I will go on and on about it in a post, I'm sure.

Manga/Anime; Kuroshitsuji (Black Butler)

As promised, this post is about Kuroshitsuji also known as Black Butler.

It's a pretty darn popular manga, and I presume the anime is in high favor too..but I didn't like it as much cuz it ended ;( Also the 2nd season bites, I would only recommend it to people not liking how the first season ended WHICHISTOTALBULLTHEENDINGWASPERFECTIMEANHOWELSECOULDITHAVEENDEDSEBASTIANWASTOTALLYSCAMMEDINSEASON2THEALTERNATEENDINGIMEANREALLLLY???

The manga conquers all though. :) so i will talk about the manga x3

Plot:~ Ciel Phantomhive, the soul survivor of a fire that heppened in the Phantomhive Estate, killing his parents and servants and friends and everything. The people responsible for the fire captured Ciel and puts him though very...very mean things. When all hope seemed lost to Ciel he managed to summon a demon and made a pact. If the demon was to serve as his butler, then when he exacts his revenge then the demon will be aloud to eat his soul. Ciel names his new partner Sebastian, and thus begins a life of conspiracies, enemies, and possible LOV*shot by Sebastian*

so many Ciel/Sebastian shippers... it's scary.... *i'm one of them LMFAO* But his fiance isn't bad either~ Just like Sebas-chan more~~

What makes this really appealing for me, Black butler that is, is that it's very dark. I know a person who says they hate animes based on a dark past or something.... dark. But I love them. An example of what I mean would be like Fullmetal Alchemist, I heard Death note is also like that, but I never have gotten around to watching it. ..Haha i'm getting off track.

Lovely, ain't it? :) Gosh this anime/manga is so pretty~ With their Fancy Clothes and faces~ aww :) but then there are some unpretty faces in the manga too...they just are unimportant characters ;)

So yes, you absolutely must read this. If you think the anime was good, the manga is better *although it only releases monthly*

simply because it is the manga and not the anime. Read the manga. PLEASE I urge you, for I plan to make a Kuroshitsuji fan out of someone. :DD 

Anime; Shinrei Tantei Yakumo

It's a fun little short series, 12 or 13 episodes long.

...ok maybe 'fun' wasn't the best choice in words since it's kind of gloomy but hey-guess what. it's another mystery anime. The difference is that this one is completed and not still ongoing. YAAAY. Everyone jump for joy~.

 ..*gets to it*

Shinrei Tantei Yakumo is about a physic detective...named Yakumo!

His personality is...cold? cold is an easy way to discribe it. He has some physcological issues going on so his personality is justified..goes into it in detail in the anime. It's not bad for killing a couple hours here and there, or watching all in one go *like i did* cuz said person has no life.

Pictures should go without saying now, btw.

 

Letsee~ since this anime was so short there's not really many things to note ah yes... Posting the pictures made me remember there was a whole other main character. Her name..........f***.ok it was Haruka *wiki saved the day*

Harkua had thing problem dealin with spirits and stuff.. more detail if you care enough to watch it, and she went to him, the known medium in the school, for help. She... is average -_- normal character with a backstory that i can't go into without spoilers. But for the most part she is very average...

kay guys next post will be more interesting, i promise.I just started/caught up to kuroshitsuji so yeah i'll do that one next.

Manga/Anime; Gosick

Yeah sorry about my total deathness! School came back and I've been preoccupied with other affairs.

I'M REVIVED.

Anyways! This is a new anime that has been introduced to me! It's only on episode 2 so far but it seems really interesting and I am waiting for the next episode cuz of this stupid huge cliff hanger o_____o jeez.

Anyway, from what two episodes revealed, it's about this exchange student from japan in like...england? france? One of those places in a really elite school, and since most japanese people have black eyes and brown hair, all the people there are like "LOOK AT HIS BLACK EYES. HIS SOUL MUST BE BLACK TOO" or something. (which is total shit xD) so like he has no friends, and runs into this girl who looks like a doll. And she's seems like your average tsudere character with a paranormal power. Also, this seems like a mystery genre too. You'll have to see it to know more. :P
